Monica lost her memory in 1982. She began teaching at the University of Maryland in 1984 and taught Forensic Science. Special Agent Dana Scully had Monica for a teacher for three years before a horrible accident revived Monica's memories and forced her to resign form teaching. Monica fromed a close relationship with a man named Vincent McKenzie. They had a daughter and one horrible night she was brutally attacked. Her daughter died eventually from old age and Monica had wished a curse upon Vincent.
