Chapter Two

Notes: I am writing this with my small amount of knowledge of the Beautiful Soldier Sailormoon. I am also using my knowledge of the Japanese versions of Sailormoon (Manga and Anime). Thanks Mixx! The more I learn the more my story can become accurate. School starts tomorrow, maybe I’ll get lucky and find a black cat with a Band-Aid on it’s head.     “I don’t trust her.” Rei firmly stated and turned to Usagi. They had called a Sailor Senshi meeting in order to deal with this newfound problem. All eight of the Senshi had gathered at Rei’s temple.

    “I agree with Rei, she did help you all out but she did run off right after that. She may not be the enemy but she may be on a mission.” Mamoru said quietly. He didn’t remember much from his past life but he knew a little about this Sailor Arith. And how they were connected.

    “What about in the future? Micharu? Haruka? Is Sailor Senshi Arith around in the future?” Ami asked the two older Senshi.

    They looked at each other and shrugged. “We don’t know, there might but we don’t remember her.”

    “Well this isn’t solving anything! I think that we should trust her.” Usagi argued from Mamoru’s side. Ami, Minako, Makoto, and Rei all shrugged. Sometimes Usagi could be right. There was a knock at the door and then it opened to revile Grandpa.

    “Hello, Ladies. There is someone here from a company to see you all.” She said and then a tall woman with short red hair appeared in the doorway.

    “Hello, I’m so sorry to interrupt you all but I have a flier that I’m handing around. It’s to promote my new business. I run a tutoring business and I am a riding instructor. I was hoping that you’ll try out a free lesson when you arrive with this flyer.” She handed each of them a flyer and then nodded to them all.

    “Riding instructor?” Ami said and looked at the flier, “But where?”

    “In the park, it’s a small operation but once I earn enough money I’m going to open a camp, or something. But if you don’t use my services could you please recommend me to a friend?” She said as Rei watched her. Rei leaned over to Usagi and whispered to her.

    “I’m getting some vibes over here.” Usagi looked at Rei and nodded. The tall woman bowed and left, leaving fliers with them. “I hope I wasn’t the only one that felt that….”

    Mamoru whispered to Usagi that he was stepping outside for the moment and she looked up at him, smiling. “Anything wrong?” She asked quietly, but he shook his head and kissed her forehead before standing up and stepping outside to look up at the night sky.

    He had felt it, through her touch, simple and light but he saw himself, or rather Endymion talking to some girl dressed in white. Perhaps it was Serenity or someone else? But what bothered him is he saw a planet explode, and for some reason he felt as if he lost a sister but he knew better then that. He had had no siblings a thousand years ago, at least no blood related ones. “Could I be wrong?”

    “Wrong about what Mamoru?” a rough voice, said behind him, but it felt familiar and different, as well as soft and feminine. He turned around but no one stood behind him. “I’m not there am I?”

    “Where are you?” he asked, looking for a voice source.

    “Not near you, it’s called a mind link and your powers are not strong enough yet.” Half a face appeared it looked much like Zoicite’s when he closed his eyes.

    “Then how do I talk to you?”

    “Because I am keyed into your brain, I have always been. But that is not important. What is, is that you must protect the princess at all costs, her warriors are strong but they will not stand forever.”

    “But how? I have no great power. They have always been there.” He looked at his hands and then too the moon, “I do not even have the right to love her. How can I have the right to protect her?”

    “No one has ever had the right to love our princess but we do. You will regain you’re memories of me with time as well as your true powers Endymion, my brother.”

    “Brother?” Mamoru said aloud.

    “Mamo-chan?” Usagi asked as she stepped out of the meeting to find him just outside the door, watching the moon. “Are you ok?”

    “Usa-ko, Buns, Usagi. Why do you love me?” He asked, not looking away from the moon. Usagi paused, thrown by the question.

    “I don’t know why, I just do. I…I feel safe, and warm. You give me strength and life and the power to defeat all my enemy’s. Mama could never understand, she would always ask me why, until one day.” Usagi moved closer to Mamoru but still stayed just behind him.

    “What did you tell her?” He asked quietly, so quietly that she almost didn’t hear.

    “I told her that I couldn’t understand why I loved you, I just did and that every second away from you was another second that came to the point where I almost could not live, that I could not breath…and that I would if you told me to.” Usagi’s eyes were closed as she remembered, but she opened them and looked at him. “But what am I saying….?”

    Mamoru turned to look at her, so beautiful in her school clothes. Just like Sailor Moon. He reached out for her hand and brought her closer. “I had a vision Usa-ko. I have a sister and I think that it might be Sailor Arith. But if it truly is her and the Soldiers will fall to protect you, I’m afraid that I will not be able to protect you.”

    “But Mamo-chan. You’ve always protected me, when I first learned I was Sailor Moon, you saved me and you saved me when that evil man with the flowers attacked.” Usagi said looking up at him.

    “But you are wrong, You saved us so many times, you saved earth and me over and over again.” He shook his head, “I must go Usa-ko. I’m sorry, but I must.”

    Usagi watched as he walked off, coat over his shoulder and black hair messy as usual. A tear formed in her eye as she watched him go, but she wiped it away as she looked to the moon and prayed, ‘Oh mother, what am I to do?’

    “Usagi?” a voice said from inside Rei’s room.

    “I’m fine, I’m just thinking, Luna.” She looked over her shoulder at the door and saw Luna peeking out. Luna nodded and disappeared from the doorway. Usagi sighed and began to walk, not knowing where she was going but not completely wandering. She walked for a long time and after a while her watch started to beep and she heard her friends ask if she was ok but she didn’t respond. She began to pick up the pace until she was running top speed, something in her heart told her that she had to see Mamoru, that he needed her. But when she reached his apartment building she stopped, a voice called to her but she could see no one.

    “Who are you?!” She called out.

    “Close your eyes and open your mind. You know who I am, I was you teacher.” The voice said again. And Usagi closed her eyes, letting her mind and heart be still.

    “Teacher? But Luna…”

    “I am not Luna. Come on Serenity, remember. You have to remember, for Endymion, please to save him you will need to remember.”  Images flashed through Usagi’s mind.

    A ball, she watched as a red head danced with Endymion. A planet, beautiful like her own, but not blue like earth. A green area where each of them transformed. “Arith Planet Power!” echoed through her brain. And then, the unknown Senshi, hurt and falling, then protecting her. Watching Endymion, small talks with him. Then a battle, where Uranus, Neptune and someone combined to destroy the enemy.  Finally a planet exploding, and Usagi’s eyes came open with a gasp. “Christine…” she thought and again the voice responded.

    “Ah, so you remember me. Or at least a little of me, do you remember what I told you about the crystal? About how it will grow stronger when you do, and how love will affect it?” The voice now took on a face.

    “Yes.” A wind began to blow and it seemed to circle around Usagi, and the voice grew loud on this wind. Footsteps approached behind her and she barely heard them.

    “Go to him, he needs you.” A voice whispered in her ear and Usagi whirled around to see a tall woman with red hair walking away.

    “Mamo-chan.” Usagi whispered and then heard a scream from the apartment above. She instantly took up her broach and shouted the words she knew, yet didn’t. “Moon Crisis, Make up!”

    Instantly Sailor Moon replaced Usagi and she ran up the stairs to Mamoru’s apartment. His door had been knocked in and out came Mamoru’s screams for help. Sailor Moon lifted her watch and pressed the communicator button. “Guys!”

    “Usagi?” Came Minako’s voice.

    “V-babe! I’m gunna need some help. Mamo-chan is in trouble! I’m at his apartment.” Sailor Moon yelled into the communicator.

    “We’re on our way!” Was the response. Sailor Moon took a deep breath and jumped into Mamoru’s doorway. She instantly spotted Mamoru and the monster, it held him, but wasn’t hurting him. Just beating him up.

    “I am the Champion of Justice and the guardian of love. I am SAILOR MOON, and you’re punished!” She said, and then removing her tiara she threw it at the enemy by saying, “Moon Frisbee!”

    Mamoru was cut free and Sailor Moon rushed forward, catching him she moved him back far enough so that he would not get hurt. Turning Sailor Moon stood in front of Mamoru to protect him from the monster, but suddenly the other Senshi rushed in.

    “Flower Hurricane!” Jupiter yelled but she was thrown backwards as her attack was reflected upon her. Soon they were each knocked out like that, except for three people. Mamoru, Sailor Moon, and Sailor Mars, the three we’re able to avoid the monster but the battle was no where near over. Suddenly the window exploded and glass flew everywhere. A woman, the new Senshi had jumped in that way, creating enough confusion to land a blow on the monster with her staff.

    “Tornado…!” She began to say but was grabbed and could not use her power. Mars tried to free her but was grabbed as well. Both had their energy zapped and were thrown to the floor. Arith’s eyes remained open watching Sailor Moon and Mamoru, she barely had enough strength to open the mind link and talk to the other Senshi. ‘We must help them.’ Was all she said.

    Suddenly the monster lunged at Mamoru but Sailor Moon jumped in its way and was caught, for the second time that week Sailor Moon’s energy was being drained. Suddenly the Crystal tear on Sailor Arith’s staff began to glow and soon it stood up straight, and hung in the air above Sailor Arith’s feet.

    Sailor Arith lifted her hand and began to force her energy through the crystal tear, giving the other Senshi the strength to fight back, but she passed out before the end of the battle.

    Kaliy slowly opened her eyes, her head hurt very much, like it had been hit and her body felt very weak. As she looked around she noticed that she had no idea where she was. ‘Let’s see, I was fighting and the…Princess! She was in danger, but I gave the Senshi my energy. Did they defeat it?’ Kaliy asked herself. A green light filled the room and Kaliy felt a rift in time and space. “Pluto.”

    “Kaliy, they are save. I left the story telling to you. But the need to know.” Pluto said stepping over to Kaliy.

    “Yes, they do, but I’ve been helping them remember on their own.” Kaliy said quietly looking around.

    “There is no time for that. The enemy is to close to winning, you must help them remember by telling them.” Kaliy stood up, but fell back down onto the bed. Her head was spinning a mile a minute. Closing her eyes she summoned her staff to her hand.

    “I’ll tell them. But you must understand that they might not believe me. I might be forced to create a rift.” Pluto nodded and then she was gone. Kaliy stood, leaning on her staff and slowly began to walk out of the bedroom. She heard voices and followed them, they lead her to a bright room. She heard they’re gasps and she looked each on in the face.

    “I am Kaliy, Sailor Senshi of the planet Arith,” she paused and looked at Mamoru, “And sister to the ruler of the earth, Prince Endymion.”
